FLOX’s roots are firmly planted in the street art movement of the early 2000s. As an aerosol and stencil artist with a fine art degree, she began painting murals across Auckland in 2003. Her striking compositions, often featuring tūī, kōkako, fantails and lush native flora, quickly became recognisable for their vibrant colour and delicate detail. It’s this combination of environmental storytelling, street art roots and unmistakable style that has made FLOX one of New Zealand’s most loved artists. Now at Spacecraft!
