With large, round, beautifully coloured leaves, the Calathea Orbifolia is a stunning, eye-catching plant that has the ability to brighten even the darkest corner. Calathea Orbifolia loves humidity and will appreciate regular misting - this means they make a perfect bathroom plant if conditions are ideal. It has light green leaves marked with silver stripes, and while it will cope in a darker corner, it will thrive with plenty of indirect light and is a great air purifier.
Calathea has specific care needs - take a look at the key points below to help ensure your customer's success with this plant.

Habitat: Prefers to be kept in warmer temperatures. Avoid sudden temperature drops, and keep away from draughts.
Light: Bright, indirect light. Shield from direct sun.
Water: Water little and often with filtered, room temperature water.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix to avoid root rot.
Fertiliser: Feed with a low dose of liquid fertiliser during Spring and Summer.

Please note: Variegated plants vary between and within crops. While we attempt to maintain growing conditions, no guarantees can be made around the volume of variegation per plant. The picture of this plant is indicative only, as we see with all plant species, every plant is unique.
