Native NZ - Baby Meets Wildlife

Designed to focus and calm your baby, this book of New Zealand wildlife creates the perfect opportunity for bonding, cuddles and story time. Your baby will be captivated by theses high-contrast NZ native wildlife faces, which help them to develop a greater understanding of their surrounding world. Research has shown that newborns prefer to look at faces rather than objects. Through face recognition babies learn to relate to others and develop empathy. Newborns and young babies also prefer to look at black and white geometric imagery. It helps them to engage and focus, allows their minds to rest, and lengthens attention span, improve memory and develops their nervous system.
