Ponga Frond White on Black Bowl - 24cm
Description
An iconic New Zealand image, the silver fern symbol comes from the New Zealand fern – Cyathea Dealbata (Ponga is the Maori name). Its unfurling frond symbolizes strength, growth and new beginnings.
Made from white porcelain, inside semi-gloss clear glaze with decal and unglazed outside.
Size 240mm x 190mm x 40mm deep ˑ each piece comes boxed with an image of the design on the lid.
These pieces feature irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the organic nature of the collection.
